Where are our roots?
We are the immediate offspring of Harold E. Malott and Marie Miller. Harold is one of nine children born to James E. Malott and Cora Cox. The other children were:
Jack -Gilbert Perl
Lawrence "Bunk"
Thomas "Pete"
Betty
Areta
Helen
Margaret (Maggie) Married to Ed Cortney
and Rena who was deceased at a young age.

Both James and Cora are buried in a small town of Marks Court near Hicksville OH.

Marie was one of eight children born to Myron and and Anna Duram Miller. The children are:
William
Russell
John
Evert
Viola
Ethel
and Helen

Cora Cox and James were supposedly married around Chillicothe OH. However, in checking with the clerk in Ross Co. Ohio there is no record of the marriage. Cora was native american and Ohio was the home of numerous resevations. No marriage records were kept on the reservations. The Shawnee indians were settled around Chillocothe.
James and Cora are both buried in the small town of Marks Court Ohio, near Hicksville.
